He's thinks about himself as a person who has found his language in art, in turn, realistic painting has been his way of working and expression. Being born and raised in Puebla has exerted a great influence on him. Combination of baroque and modernity that he has been living with become integrated into his work, as stated by the painter. Therefore, his work has as protagonists the figures of men and women made in the manner of master painters like Caravaggio and Michelangelo, that live and thrive in a modern world. Jesus Lima is a young artist with a great career in the art world, is considered one of the current exponents of hyperrealism and has repeatedly been selected in the State Meeting of Contemporary Arts to be held in Puebla. He has done several solo and group exhibitions since 2004 to date.
